The remote would connect and give me a windows message saying it was connected and ready to go, and once it gave me that. If anyone could provide me links to a solution that would help too. Open up Glovepie and open the GH3 script in the program. We love Wii and the wireless controller for the "other" games which work well but for Guitar Hero III I am disappointed so far. I created an online profile, and whenever I select it after clicking on Nintendo WFC from the main menu, it tries to connect for about 2 minutes and then gives me this error message. Anyway, I've done the calibration when you pause a game and go to options but that doesn't seem to help. I could play the "hard" level on PS2 fairly well but have trouble with this even on "medium"! It just doesn't respond like I think it should. You could do it though, and the simplest way would be to look at using macros which will trigger a mouse click every time you press a key. But with this guitar and it being wireless it just doesn't feel right. 2 Answers Sorted by: 1 This would go against the way the game is written - you are supposed to press a button to emulate the picking action, and use another button to denote which fret is selected. I have played PS2 wired Guitar Hero II and did not notice any issues of lag or response time. We just got a Wii for Xmas and I bought the wireless Guitar Hero III. ![]()
